NEW PRICE LIST!

Hey guys,

My price list was a bit of a complicated mess, and this wasn't always fair. So I decided to make things simpler. It is mostly based on an hourly rate of 10$ an hour, and so if you want something different then what is on the list, this is the rate that I will use to evaluate the price. It is not open to negotiation, 10$/h being the absolute minimum I'm willing to go and is only for commissions to individuals on which I keep the publishing rights.

One significative change is that I do not make a difference on paper size anymore, reason being that I now have a kickass printer scanner and I'll now being able to use "letter" or "ledger" size depending on the need of the pic without complication.

here's your chance guys, go crazy, have that thing you always wanted to see, but where afraid to ask. I'M game!

to contact me: alexdeb001@hotmail.com

Commissions, Prices and conditions

1-I keep the publishing and commercial rights, you can publish your art piece on your personal webpage, or blogs, have fun with it. but I keep the commercial rights to it. If you want the publishing and commercials rights, contact me, and we'll come to an agreement.

2- I reserve myself the right to pullback from any commission I feel uncomfortable to do. But to be honest, it take a lot for me to get out of a pic.

3- Yes I do more adult stuff, but it won't show up on my DA gallery, and you have to keep it legal.

I am open to other possibility, so don't be shy to contact me if you got something else in mind.

Commission will not be mailed to the client, unless specified otherwise, and the shipping cost will be taken care of by the client prior to mailing the piece.

it is your responsibility to be specific and will be charge extra for editing after the basic sketches stage.

you will be ask to pay a reasonable portion upfront as a security deposit

all payments on paypall

Here is how I work:

first you will receive the sketch of the pic  I have in mind based on the description you sent me and the price it is worth. it is usually quite a good sketch, featuring most of the details, as well as a email explaining what I have in mind for the colors. This is the time for the big changes. Afterward, only color corrections will be approved.

the list of price is on my gallery, but I reserve my self the right to re-evaluate the price while working on the sketch level, depending mostly on the difficulty level and the numbers of details, do not worry to much about this :P  but I have to keep the pic profitable, and it is sometime impossible to do so on the usual price.

Once you are OK with the sketch, you will be expected to send a reasonable amount as a security deposit on my paypal account. Most commissioners pay the whole thing, but that is up to you. please sent the money as payment.

I'll then do the ink and colors of your piece. I'll send you a small resolution of the finish product for approval. When everything is good, you will again be expected to send the rest of the money and I'll send you the high rez without watermark.

Hello.

First of all, thank you very much for seeing this and for your Amazing work, you’re such an inspiration; I know you’re probably very busy right now.

My name is Luis Diego and I'm from Guatemala. I am about to graduate from University so I have to make a detailed investigation of a topic of my Choice. For that I need to study subjects and obtain data of the experience from professionals in that area. The topic I chose was:

"Analysis of methods and techniques making a digital illustration. "

About this, I have to make a deep investigation touching the areas of the process making a digital illustration, differences between digital painting and digital illustration and take into account the style and methods that use professionals artists in this field. I'm talking to you looking for support and with that success in my project so I can be able to graduate from college in a good way, leaving a document to guide future illustrators in the digital realm.

Can I count with your support and keep in touch with you during the first half of this year to make an interview and obtain information about your experience in digital illustration?

Thanks for everything and I’ll wait for your response.

Have a great night.
